| Complaint Details | I bought Nokia 5130 Express Music on 28th May 2009 and before I could use it for 4 months, the handset got repaired where I was asked to give the handset to nokia care by Nokia dealer from where i bought (Spencer Plaza). The issue is that when I switch on, it asks to "contact Network Service" and gets switched off. For this the nokia care tambaram, sent the mobile to head office Bombay and returned 10 days later. They said that they had changed the board of the handset. Again not even using for 15 days it got switched off saying "contact Network Service", this time I got frustrated and when I reached the Nokia Care they said, that this issue normally should come only for once and promised me that they will check and give me a solution and also asked me to raise a compliant with Nokia too in the toll free number - 18004253388. I had asked for the replacement of the handset as this is happening for the second time during the warrant period and the compliant number is 1-10714550439. But the Nokia team is not ready to replace the handset as the phone is repairable. This is what their answer to my compliant. Since the warranty period is not yet over, they are repairing the entire handset and giving me back the same repaired handset and I might have to pay and continue doing the same (changing the board of the handset by sending it to Bombay office every time when it says contact network service)even after the warranty period gets over. Since the nokia care employee himself told me that this problem shouldn't come even for the second time to a handset, am not ready to take the REPAIRED handset from nokia care tambaram. |
